OK, I admit it, I pretty much live from holiday to holiday. That's what I do. It keeps the creative juices flowing.
I just finished cutting some heart pendants and snowflake earrings out of white clay.
I'm participating in my first Bead Soup Party so I thought I would come up with some new pendants to choose from for the event!
I have a special order for a star pin, so I made some shapes for that. While I was at it I made some heart earrings with a scallop shell imprint and some other goodies.
Here they are after sponging the edges.
And of course, tis the season, I painted some little heart earrings and some Valentine Fish Pins!! Here they are with clear glaze, ready for the glaze firing.
As soon as there is a pathway plowed to the garage where I have my kiln, I'll be firing them up!
Go Ahead - Have a seat in the cafe and I'll bring you a Cup o' Joe.
lovley pendants, can't wait to see them fired, and also that is some hard core snow
ReplyDeleteThanks Lynsey :) I'll definitely post some photos of the finished pieces. I know, some major snow for sure - quite tundra like, but very pretty!
ReplyDeleteoh my! you got WAY more snow than we did. Look forward to seeing them after you have fired them.

ReplyDeleteAnd thank you for following my blog! :)
Those hearts with the scalloped shell edge are super sweet - and your background with all the hearts (the blog background) is awesome! Puts one in the mood for Valentine's day…
ReplyDeleteHope you get to the garage soon! Thanks for participating in the BOC state of your studio! See you next month too...
That purple fish is cracking me up! Love your fun pieces. I'm excited to see what you work up with Emanda's soup!
